Of Elizabeth was named after our founder, whose middle name (which she favors) is Elizabeth and she creates pieces from her hands to yours. Hence, Of Elizabeth.

A NOTE

     Founded in 2016, I originally operated my eponymous label Of Elizabeth (then Queen of Suburbia) out of the spare bedroom in my apartment in Toronto. I created everything in that tiny room until we grew to a team of three, but the brand went on hiatus in 2021.

     In 2023, we rebranded to Of Elizabeth, and the plans to reinvent the brand took over my laptop, living room table, and it wasn't long before you couldn't leave my apartment without bits of tulle stuck to your clothes.

     Between then and now our designs were worn by pop star Halsey, stocked in specialty boutiques internationally, and received countless thoughtful emails from happy clients.

     We're now produced in Europe by a small team of women being paid fairly for their skill and expertise. Each pattern is made by me, and each collection is conceptualized and sampled by me and brought to life through many nights on the floor with a pair of scissors and some nice lace. 

      Our reopen is on February, 2025.
